Oh spoony. I'm sorry to hear that. Is it worth sitting down with your consultant to see if something silly is out of whack?

I can only put it down to stress; a few personal things which I won't bore you with have gone on these past couple of weeks but I've stuck to plan. I've felt stupidly bloated the past couple of weeks which I've presumed was stress related to.

Stress is funny a old thing and can play havoc with your body xx whatever it is, no matter how much it may bore us (which personally I don't mind listening so to speak) it might help to get it off your chest xx

Thanks both, but I don't feel like I can talk about it openly in a forum as I wouldn't want everybody knowing, but thanks for the offer and the advice.

I put on half a pound too. I am a bit gutted. Last week they said ti try cutting back fizzy juice and have water as they reckoned it was water weight. SO i had at least 2litres a day of plain water plus i went ti 2 gym sessions and a half day forest walk.
So now they say I'm not eating enough and I need to eat more protein if im back exercising. I use the scales at roughly the same time each day and my weight can vary by 3/4 lb a day. Does anyone else get this its like im doing well but by the time i get to SW im up 3lbs. Im stuck in a rut

Jill, I'm the same. For three weeks I've put on, the first week (+2lb) I could understand why so I cut things out and made sure I food optimised in the second week, but I gained (+1.5lb). So the third week I made sure I had a third of speed food and snacked more but I gained again (+0.5lb)
This week I'm trying again... Making sure I drink more, making sure I eat MORE speed food (I've gone through so much frozen veg in these past few weeks), I bought a bottle to ensure I drink more water, I had little tubs which I fill with fruit to eat... If I don't see a loss this week then I've no idea where I'm going wrong. My healthy extras are Weetabix and skimmed milk, though I never manage to use the full 350ml! I've made sure I've kept most of my syns until the evening (consultant advised this).
It's like my body had become complacent since hitting target (which I wanted to change and of which I'm now not at.) I know I have around 21 months to get to where I want to be and I know I've done well with losing what I have but now I'm scared I'm going back to the way I was.
Anyways, I'm going to sleep. I have an Asda delivery tomorrow full of good food, my breakfast is full of speed food and is in the fridge ready for tomorrow as is my bottle of water.
