Just typed out some of the marinades and sauces I have been using over the Summer with syn values so thought I would share them here:
BUBBA’S BBQ SAUCE - I make this quite spicy put in less cayenne and hot pepper sauce if you prefer it milder
1 CUP DIET COLA
1 CUP KETCHUP 8.5 syns
1 TIN TOMATO PUREE
½ CUP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
½ CUP SWEETNER
½ CUP WHITE WINE VINEGAR
TBSP YELLOW MUSTARD 1 syn
TBSP CAYENNE PEPPER
TSP GARLIC SALT
TBSP HOT PEPPER SAUCE ½ syn
10 syns for the bottle so I count 1 syn per serving.
SPICY PORK MARINADE
3 GARLIC CLOVES
½ TSP CHILLI FLAKES
4 TBSP SOY SAUCE
1 TBSP WHITE WINE VINEGAR
½ TSP PAPRIKA
1 TBSP SWEETNER
KETCHUP TO THICKEN (approx. 2 syns just measure using a tbsp and then it's easy to keep track)
I count 1 syn per person - though I think it's probably nearer 1/2 a syn

COOK FOR 10-15 MINS ADD WATER - how much it needs really, when you whiz it with a food blender then you can judge how much more you might need
