I'd say they're pretty useful even from a non SW perspective - success stories mostly talk about how they feel and what changes in their lifestyle has happened
the recipes I think are super transferable just for healthier eating - and there are about 15 recipes in each magazine - along with a weekly food plan (good for meal ideas) it also tells you what healthy alternatives have been released at supermarkets (such as ready meals and low calorie snacks)
They do have a mens section as well, with success stories from the gents, and an obligatory beauty bit with clothes and makeup (which I never really look at - i'm there for the recipes!)
As most things are non branded it doesnt push their own products on you (although they are bits promoting their new food line but it's few and far between)
