Hi lovely
Personally I find such low calorie diets work short term but like you have experienced its not long term solution. However I am not familiar with thyroid issues that can for some cause problems with weight loss or even gain which I have just read both are a symptom of hashimoto... weight gaining then unwanted loss, you can't win feelings I bet is very real for you
it's hard enough so I feel for you.
Have you had any advice from your GP without using medications if you don't want to use that route again? From a little research it's your metabolism you want to boost. Natural ways to boost the metabolism:
Exercise (which from what you've said very much worked for you)
Certain food boost your metabolism like coffee zinc chili ( I
chili in everything haha)
Protein rich food (I try and eat high protein and find great results)
Hydration plays a big factor 3 litres a day min 2 litres a day ... it works!
Drink green and peppermint tea
What exercise do you participate in out of curiosity and frequency?
Don't under eat and balance the fats, carbs and protein in my opinion based on your daily activity.
I'll look out for your reply.
I went from a size 20 to 10 but I've gone up again because I stopped balancing and I keep dipping in and out of exercise! ARGH!
so I do kinda know what it's like and this isn't the first time I've gone into yoyo mode!
