They don't really but they are a good choice in a healthy diet... so much more to losing weight than just a cucumber.
Cucumbers are a good choice with dips because they are low calorie/carbs
Cucumbers are mostly water
Cucumber infused in water to stay hydrated as an alternative to just plain boring water
To snack on when peckish
They also contain antioxidants such as vit C which of course is good for you but alone won't help you lose weight
