We've had a lot of network problems since someone got creative early last week
As a result my manager is spending lots of time hot desking in my office
This has resulted in a massive reduction in my book reading \ movie watching \ computer gaming. The audiobook seemed the most viable fallback. Having one earphone in while i hit dry technical websites seemed acceptable. As for why that one the author did a book on sugars and how they effect our health which was pretty well received. I had also seen a documentary about twins where one was obese and the other 'normal' that highlighted a genetic difference between them in testing. This was thought to be a 'fat switch' and in these cases had links to a trauma style event that caused a period of comfort eating in most the obese cases. It makes sense that the switch could be a legacy genetic hibernating system triggered by large volume of sugars. So sounded fun
but quite in depth on the research and biological processes.
