As I was saying in my journal thread, I've been told by my OB-GYN to watch carbs and sugar because I am insulin resistant and have PCOS, which is aggravated by high insulin levels. She was kind of vague with the details, though, so I bought
this book on Amazon's website. Have any of you read it? Basic premise is to limit carbs per meal to no more than 30 grams (fiber doesn't count so it's 30 grams of net carbs) and pair it with at least 14 grams of protein, and space meals out at least 2 hours apart. The concept is called "linking and balancing."
